Create resource pages with asset showcases and approved downloads

Sites can include dedicated resource pages for brand guides, press kits and resource libraries. These use reusable page templates that start as editable drafts. Add content before publishing — templates contain placeholder headings and empty content slots, not pre-filled brand specifications or sample files. ## Create a resource page 1. Open **Sites** in your workspace. 2. Select the site and open the **Pages** tab. 3. Select **Add page**. 4. Choose a **Page template**: - **Brand guide** — introduction, marks, colours and typography, usage examples and approved downloads. - **Press kit** — an introduction, media images, facts, downloads and a press contact. - **Resource library** — an introduction, downloadable resources and help. - **Blank page** — start with an empty page. 5. Enter a page name. 6. Select **Create page**. Templates create an editable draft page with the table of contents enabled. Fill in your content and publish the site when ready. ## Asset showcase The **Asset showcase** section presents logos, product images, portfolios, comparison examples or illustrated guidance in a structured grid. Add it from the section library. ### Add and edit images Each showcase item has a title, image, alternative text and caption. To add an item: 1. Open the showcase section in the editor. 2. Select **Add image**. 3. Enter a title. 4. Upload a PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG file, or paste a public HTTP or HTTPS image URL (including SVG). 5. Add alt text and an optional caption. Image uploads go to the section-images storage path and are publicly readable. Do not upload private or internal working artwork — uploads are public presentation assets. **Duplicate an image:** Select **Duplicate image** to insert an independent copy of the item immediately after the source. The copy has a new ID and can be edited separately without affecting the original. ### Image fit and padding In **Design & spacing**, each image has two display controls: | Control | Options | Default | |---|---|---| | **Image fit** | Fit (shows the whole image), Fill (covers the frame and may crop edges) | Fit | | **Image padding** | None, Small (12 px), Medium (24 px), Large (40 px) | Medium (Fit); None (Fill) | Existing showcase items retain their Fit layout with medium padding. Blank space inside an uploaded file is part of that image and cannot be trimmed here. ### Layout and design Open **Design & spacing** to set: - **Columns** — one, two or three columns. Columns stack to a single column on narrow screens. - **Background per image** — Light, Dark, or Transparency grid. Set this inside each item's Design & spacing disclosure. Showcase sections can be saved as linked workspace blocks. Publishing a shared block updates all linked placements independently of Site publication versions. Downloads sections cannot be linked blocks (see below). ## Downloads The **Downloads** section lets visitors download explicitly approved files from your workspace asset library. ### Add a downloads section 1. Add **Downloads** from the section library. 2. Optionally add a section heading, introduction, release version, updated date and usage or permission note. ### Add and approve files 1. Under **Approve each file for public download**, select **Add download**. 2. Choose a file from your workspace library or upload a new one. 3. Enter a **Download title** (required for approval). 4. Add an optional description. 5. Check **Approved for public download**. Approval requires both a selected file and a title. Changing the file clears the approval — re-approve after replacing a file. **Supported upload formats:** PDF, PNG, JPG, ZIP and other existing workspace library formats. Include SVG source exports inside a ZIP; direct SVG uploads are not available in the workspace download library. ### How download access works - Only approved, named files on published pages of a sales Site are accessible to visitors. - The download endpoint reads the Site's active published release. Draft changes do not affect the current live selection. - Files are streamed as attachments. Permanent Storage tokens are never exposed. - Access ends immediately when the Site is unpublished, a file is removed from an approved position and the page is republished, or the file is deleted from the library. - Previously downloaded copies cannot be recalled. - Downloads sections are independent copies. Shared-source saved blocks cannot be used for Downloads, because shared-source updates would bypass Site publication. ### Version and date labels **Release version** and **Updated date** are editor-supplied labels shown alongside the download list. They are not an automated approval workflow or a verified release record. ### Unapproved file metadata Unapproved file names, IDs and metadata are omitted from the public Site response. Visitors cannot discover unapproved selections. ## Duplicate and reuse You can duplicate a resource page or section to reuse the layout. Each copy follows its own independent approval and publication state. The same download file can appear on multiple pages — deleting the file from the workspace library removes it from every page that references it, including older Site versions. ## Publish Resource pages follow the standard Site draft and publish workflow: 1. Fill in content and approve files. 2. Save the page to draft. 3. Publish the site from **Settings → Publishing & versions** or the publication dropdown. Only published pages on a published Site grant visitors access to downloads. Publishing the Site commits all approved files and page content atomically.
